He is the Deputy Director of department of Hydraulic Engineering and Hydraulics，Nanjing Hydraulic Research Institute, a senior engineer, Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Navigable Building Construction Technology of the Ministry of Transport, a member of the Youth Science and Technology Committee of the China Water Resources Society, a young science and technology leader of the “333 High-Level Talents” of Jiangsu Province, a member of the Ministry of Transport’s Youth  He is mainly engaged in the research of navigation hydraulics, fish passage hydraulics, dam failure hydraulics, river and lake health evaluation and other engineering hydraulics and eco-hydraulics.
