Sen XuDr., Associate Prof.

Sen Xu, an associate professor at Hohai University, primarily focuses his research on chemical weathering and biogeochemical cycling of riverine biogenic elements. He has hosted numerous projects, including the Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Youth Project of the Tianjin Natural Science Foundation, the Special Grant and General Program of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and the Postdoctoral International Exchange Program (Outgoing) of the Ministry of Education. Additionally, he has participated in several major initiatives, such as the Second Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition and Research (STEP) program. To date, he has published over 40 peer-reviewed papers, with more than 10 as the first author in prestigious journals such as Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta and Environmental Science & Technology. Prospective graduate students with an interest in river water quality, carbon cycling, and climate change are warmly encouraged to apply!
