从科学探索到大众科普——我院鲁春辉教授海岛地下水研究亮相腾讯“企鹅科普”
近日,我院鲁春辉教授作为科学探索奖获得者,参与腾讯2026年“企鹅科普视频大赛”科普纪录片拍摄,携手科普创作”轨迹球TRACKBALL”赴西沙永兴岛开展实地拍摄。在岛期间,鲁春辉教授结合科研工作开展地下水取样和现场调查,通过镜头向公众讲述四面环海的珊瑚岛为何能够赋存地下淡水。相关纪录片《地图上海里为何有个“洞”?登岛后,我发现了南海最深处的秘密》已于腾讯新闻上线。

淡水透镜体是珊瑚岛礁重要的天然淡水资源。长期以来,鲁春辉教授团队围绕海岛淡水透镜体形成演变、人工增储及可持续开采开展系统研究,综合采用野外观测、理论解析、室内砂槽实验、数值模拟等方法,揭示降雨补给、岛屿形态、含水层结构、海平面变化及人类开采等因素对淡水透镜体的影响规律。团队在国际上首次提出通过在海岛外围设置低渗透性介质带抑制海水入侵、增加地下淡水储量的新方法,并进一步阐明低渗屏障深度、宽度和渗透性对淡水增储、极端海水淹没后恢复及地下水可开采量的影响;近年来又从三维海岛抽水优化、海平面上升、填海造陆以及地下水水质等方面不断拓展相关理论。系列研究为海岛地下淡水资源科学评价、工程增储与可持续开发利用提供了理论和技术支撑,对提升南海岛礁水安全保障能力具有重要意义。相关成果持续发表于Water Resources Research、Journal of Hydrology、Advances in Water Resources 等水文水资源领域国际权威期刊。
鲁春辉教授团队的海岛地下水研究受到社会广泛关注。《科技日报》曾以《海岛下藏着“淡水池” 特殊“围脖”使居民用水实现自给自足》为题专题报道团队提出的海岛地下淡水增储方法。此次参与“企鹅科普”纪录片拍摄,以更加直观、生动的方式向公众展示海岛地下水科学,推动原创科研成果从专业学术领域走向大众科普。
